Responsibilities
- Turn the brief or idea into a clear treatment: story, tone, characters and visual style.
- Lead the story reel: approve storyboards, animatic timing and previs camera work before production starts.
- Review work daily in Kitsu and give precise, actionable notes per shot and per department.
- Direct lighting and mood with the lighting team using the studio's Musnad Method: tell the story with light, direct the eye, shape the final frame.
- Present progress to clients and keep the creative vision consistent through edit, grade and sound.
Requirements
- A directing portfolio with finished animated or CGI work (shorts, commercials or series).
- Strong understanding of the full CGI pipeline, from story to compositing.
- Clear visual language: camera, composition, staging and light.
- Ability to give direct, kind and specific feedback to a remote team.
- Fluent Arabic or English; both is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time previs in Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of Arabian history and heritage storytelling.
