Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary CEO/Owner and Project Manager to guide our studio through its next phase of growth. This dual role involves both strategic leadership as the CEO and hands-on management as the Project Manager, ensuring that all projects align with our creative vision and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business management, a deep understanding of the animation and CGI industries, and exceptional leadership qualities.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the company’s strategic plan while ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and inspire the team to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
- Direct the company’s operational and fiscal activities to include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, securing of new funding and funding relationships, and other business financial requirements.
- Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit.
- Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
- Engage in key or targeted customer activities.
- Oversee key hiring and talent development programs.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Write and submit reports to the board in all matters of importance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as CEO, Project Manager, or in other managerial position with a track record of effective team and project management.
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Familiarity with various business functions such as marketing, sales, finance, HR etc.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- MBA or other relevant graduate degree is strongly preferred.
