Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Freelance Researchers to conduct in-depth heritage research that will inform and inspire our animation projects. This role involves exploring historical, cultural, and environmental aspects of specific regions or themes, particularly those relevant to our projects' settings and narratives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, with specific expertise in cultural heritage, history, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research on cultural heritage, history, and related subjects to support the development of our animation projects.
- Compile and synthesize research findings into comprehensive reports and presentations for use by our creative teams.
- Collaborate with scriptwriters and directors to ensure that historical and cultural elements are accurately and effectively integrated into our narratives.
- Identify and utilize a variety of research resources, such as academic journals, books, databases, and interviews.
- Maintain detailed records of research findings and sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on research to enhance the authenticity and depth of our projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in research, preferably with a focus on cultural heritage, history, or environmental studies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into accessible formats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently on complex research tasks.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and proficiency in using digital research tools and resources.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Anthropology, History, Cultural Studies, or related disciplines is preferred.
