Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Concept Artist to contribute to the visual development of our projects. This role requires a creative individual who can envision and produce compelling artwork that sets the tone and foundation for our animation and CGI work. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs that align with Ilhamist Studio’s unique style.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a wide range of high-quality concept art including character designs, environment and prop concepts, and mood boards.
- Collaborate closely with the art director and other members of the creative team to explore and refine visual styles that effectively communicate the narrative and thematic goals of the project.
- Produce detailed concept sketches and paintings that guide and inspire the production teams.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas and storylines.
- Adapt and iterate concepts based on feedback to ensure alignment with the overall vision of the project.
- Maintain a cohesive visual aesthetic across all artwork, in line with Ilhamist Studio’s artistic direction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concept Artist, demonstrated by a strong portfolio of work in concept design and visual development.
- Expertise in using digital painting tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
- Excellent drawing, coloring, and digital painting skills.
- A strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, and color theory.
- Creative and innovative thinking with the ability to adapt to various artistic styles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote environment.
