Job Description:
We are seeking a Doctor Script to join our team. This role involves providing expert script consultation to ensure narrative coherence, structural integrity, and overall quality of scripts for animation projects. The Doctor Script will work closely with writers and creative directors, offering critical feedback and suggestions to refine and enhance storylines, character development, and dialogue.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze scripts to ensure they meet the studio's creative goals and standards.
- Provide detailed feedback on story structure, character arcs, dialogue, and pacing.
- Work collaboratively with scriptwriters and directors to develop scripts and resolve narrative issues.
- Suggest revisions and alternatives to enhance the storytelling and emotional impact of scripts.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of scriptwriting trends, audience preferences, and new approaches in script development.
- Participate in creative meetings and contribute to the conceptual development of projects.
- Ensure all script changes are aligned with the project’s creative vision and production constraints.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Script Consultant, Script Editor, or a similar role in the film, television, or animation industry.
- Extensive knowledge of scriptwriting and editing processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent command of narrative techniques and character development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in scriptwriting software and tools.
- Degree in Screenwriting, Film Studies, Literature, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
