Job Description:
As a Lead Animator, you will spearhead our animation teams, guiding the creative and technical processes of our projects. This role demands a combination of strong animation skills, leadership, and the ability to ensure that all productions align with Ilhamist Studio’s artistic vision.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and mentor animation teams throughout project cycles, ensuring high standards of animation quality and consistency.
- Manage and lead animation sequences using Maya, Unreal Engine, and Nuke, integrating advanced CGI techniques.
- Foster collaboration across departments to unify visual elements and storytelling.
- Utilize advanced texturing and lighting skills with Substance Painter, Quixel, and Photoshop to elevate visual output.
- Oversee post-production processes, including editing with Premiere and color grading with DaVinci Resolve.
- Maintain project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure deliverables meet the studio's creative and technical standards.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in leading animation teams, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in high-quality animation.
- Proficiency in key animation software: Maya, Unreal Engine, Nuke, Substance Painter, Quixel, Photoshop, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a remote team.
- Excellent understanding of the full animation pipeline from conceptualization to final delivery.
- Creative and innovative approach to animation, with a passion for storytelling and detail.
