Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage our IT systems and provide technical support. This role involves ensuring the reliable operation of our IT infrastructure, managing network systems, and supporting our team in resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience managing IT operations in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Monitor and verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to IT systems, including network connectivity, user access, and security.
- Provide IT support to team members, assisting them with hardware and software issues and ensuring they can operate effectively.
- Ensure security and redundancy strategies are in place and execute disaster recovery operations when necessary.
- Document IT procedures and systems, maintaining records of system configurations and updates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to maintain and enhance the technology infrastructure of the studio.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in the IT field.
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Experience with systems and IT operations in a largely remote environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT systems and networks.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, particularly those used in animation and CGI production.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical support remotely.
- Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, etc.) is an advantage.
