Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Character 3D Modeler to join our team and contribute to the development of lifelike and imaginative character models for our animation projects. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency in 3D modeling software and a strong artistic sense to create characters that are not only detailed and accurate but also align with Ilhamist Studio's creative vision.
Responsibilities:
- Design and sculpt detailed 3D character models that align with project specifications and artistic direction.
- Work closely with the creative team, including directors and concept artists, to develop character models that effectively convey personality and purpose.
- Utilize industry-standard 3D modeling software such as Maya, ZBrush, and Blender to create high-quality models.
- Apply textures and materials to character models using tools like Substance Painter and Quixel, ensuring they meet visual standards.
- Collaborate with riggers and animators to ensure models are optimized for rigging and animation processes.
- Participate in reviews and implement feedback to refine models and enhance visual outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Character 3D Modeler, demonstrated by a portfolio featuring detailed character models.
- Expertise in 3D modeling tools like Maya, ZBrush, and Blender.
- Proficiency in texturing and material application using Substance Painter and Quixel.
- Strong understanding of character anatomy, proportions, and character design principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
