Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sound Mixer to join our team. This role involves managing and executing the audio mixing process for our projects, ensuring that the final audio tracks are balanced, clear, and enhance the overall viewer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of audio technology, a keen ear for detail, and experience in audio mixing for film or animation.
Responsibilities:
- Mix audio tracks for various projects, including films, commercials, and promotional content.
- Balance and adjust sound levels and EQ to ensure clarity and cohesion across all audio elements.
- Collaborate with sound designers, composers, and editors to integrate and refine audio components.
- Utilize advanced audio software and mixing consoles to achieve desired soundscapes.
- Monitor audio feeds to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary during post-production.
- Archive and organize audio sessions and project files for easy access and revisions.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in sound production and mixing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sound Mixer or Audio Engineer, with a strong portfolio or reel showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in audio mixing software and equipment, such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Adobe Audition.
- Excellent auditory skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge of sound production.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting and communicate effectively with team members.
- Flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field is advantageous.
